Cervin Ventures is an early-stage venture capital firm based in Palo Alto. The firm invests in pre-Seed through Series A enterprise-software companies.

Firm History

Cervin Ventures was founded in 2011 by Preetish Nijhawan and Neeraj Gupta.[1]

Since its founding, Cervin has invested in more than 40 technology start-ups, some of which have been acquired by companies such as Intel, Oracle, NTT, Akamai and Zscaler.[2] Punchh, a startup building customer loyalty programs for restaurants using artificial intelligence was acquired by PAR Technologies in 2021 for $500 million.[2] Replay Technologies was acquired by Intel in 2016 for a reported $175 million.[3]

Shirish Sathaye, formerly an investor at Kosla Ventures and Formation 8, joined the firm as general partner in 2018 to invest in networking, cloud and infrastructure startups.[4]

Taylor Oliver joined as a principal investor from Plug and Play Tech Center in 2024.[5]

Since its inception, the firm has raised 6 funds representing more than $335 million in Assets Under Management.[6][5]
