Carpenter Media Group is an American privately held media company, based in Mississippi. The company owns a number of newspapers, and other media-related properties primarily located in the United States and Canada.

History

Carpenter Media Group was founded by Todd Carpenter who previously had worked at Boone Newspapers. Significant acquisitions include the purchase of Pamplin Media Group in Oregon:[1], Black Press Media, and numerous titles from CNHI[2] and Boone.

Operations

As of 2024[3], Carpenter Media Group owns and operates the following properties in the U.S.[4]

There are others in Canada.
