Carlo Zannetti (Born 10 March 1960) is an Italian session guitarist,songwriter,composer and writer[1]known for the songs he wrote together with Bobby Solo[2][3] ,George Aaron[4][5] and Gian Luigi Nespoli and for the collaborations with the duo Jalisse[6]. Active on the Italian music scene since 1982[7], he published two albums of songs as a singer-songwriter in the 1990s and subsequently wrote several books.[8][9][10][11]
He was the artistic director of the Human Rights Tour, fundraising event to celebrate the official fiftieth anniversary of Amnesty International in Italy, held in Monselice from 9 to 18 September 2011. On that occasion, in addition to playing with Jalisse, he collaborated in concerts with Enrico Ruggeri and Eugenio Finardi.[12][13][14]
He has also worked with Sonohra, Marco Ferradini and Jimmy Fontana.[15][16]
In 2024 he wrote the soundtrack for the short film The Fear of Winning in Italian La Paura di Vincere officially selected and premiered at the 9th edition of the Ferrara Film Festival,[17][18][19][20]Silver Winner in the compositions section of the Fenix Award International Music Competition 2024 (Universal Maestro)[21],Gold Prize in the Category Composition of the Classical Stars International Music Competition[22][23][24][25] and Gold Prize in category Film & Game Music of the 12th Edition Universal Stars Music Competition.[26][27][28]
In the same year, his third album Stella is waiting for me on the rainbow bridge was released worldwide with the record label Videoradio.[29][30][31][32]
