Draft:Captain Pranjal

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Captain Pranjal was the only son of the former Managing Director of Mangalore Refinery and Petrochemicals Ltd (MRPL), M.V. Venkatesh, and Anuradha. He cherished a dream of serving his motherland, Bharat, by joining the Indian Army. Unfortunately, he passed away at the age of 28 due to a terrorist attack.[1]

In recognition of Captain M V Pranjal's exceptional and selfless bravery in the face of adversity, embodying the highest ideals of the Indian Army, he is posthumously honored with the "SHAURYA CHAKRA."[2]

Pranjal's foundational education took place at Delhi Public School in Mangalore, while his pre-university studies were completed at Mahesh PU College in the same city. Subsequently, he pursued an engineering degree at the National Defence Academy (NDA) and later received a commission in the Rashtriya Rifles.[3]
