Chidera Sunday Emmanuel (born 14 May 2002) known professionally as Capsdidit[1] or Caps, is a Nigerian Film director and cinematographer
Early life
[edit]Chidera Sunday Emmanuel, hails from Ebonyi State in Nigeria. Chidera grew up in Isolo, Lagos, Nigeria from a working class background. He started directing at 14, through short films, viral videos and skit he shot for friends. Chidera drew portraits to earn a living, but later on had to pend drawing for filming as to what he planned on studying.
Career
[edit]The film director has been in the industry since 2019 and has directed music videos for recording artists across various genres of new generation, which includes; Young Duu, Ms Jorji, Iyanex and many others.
In 2023, Chidera Sunday was responsible for all the up and close shots of Ms Jorji while having a beef issue with Tiwa Savage on Soundcity Radio.[2] He directed videos for numerous musicians, including a controversial song by Young Duu "Gbesoke[3]". With the production of a creative visual containing ''head start" a song by Bloody Civilian, Chidera gains the follow attention of Bloody Civilian who was featured in the recent Black Panther's tribute album to late Chadwick Boseman with the song "Wake up" featuring Rema.
