Candy Kugel

Candy Kugel[1] is an Emmy Award[2] winning American animator and filmmaker and owner of Buzzco Associates[3], Inc. in New York.

Kugel animated several iconic television spots, including the man planting flag on the moon spot for MTV. She has animated for Sesame Street, Nickelodeon, MTV, Between the Lions, NBC, ABC, CBS, Planned Parenthood, and many others[4]. She continues to make personal independent films that have been shown in festivals around the world, and many of her films are in the permanent collection at the Museum of Modern Art. [5]

Kugel and her partner, Vincent Cafarelli, founded Buzzco Associates[6] in 1985. Buzzco is the longest continuously operating animation studio in New York's history. Buzzco Website.[7]
