The Buena Vista Beavers football program from 1940 to 1949 represented Buena Vista College—now known as Buena Vista University—in its sixth decade of college football competition. The team was known as the Beavers. Buena Vista did not play intercollegiate games from 1943 to 1945 due to World War II.
