Brent McSwiggan

Brent McSwiggan (born March 25, 1996) is a Canadian born musician from Ingersoll, Ontario. Brent is the touring guitarist for Canadian Shoegaze/Grunge band Softcult and has been a part of other Canadian groups such as Certainty and Pine (No Sleep Records). Brent is part of the artist roster for Victory Amplifications out of the United Kingdom.

Certainty

Certainty (formerly known as Hindsight) was a grunge/alternative outfit formed by Brent McSwiggan and Jj Sorenson in mid 2013. Starting with a 3 song EP “Unwind”, the band began playing locally around the Ontario scene. Over the years the band went through several member changes and did a rebrand under the name “Certainty”. In 2017, they released their second EP titled “Tearing Me Apart”. In 2019, they released their first LP “Temporary Love”. There has been no indication that the band has broken up but appears to be on hiatus.

Brent toured with Pine (No Sleep Records) from 2017 until 2020.

Softcult
