Bluey: The Movie is an upcoming computer-animated children's film based on the Bluey television series. The film is directed and written by Joe Brumm and stars the series' regular voice cast.[1] The film will "continue the adventures of Bluey, a loveable, inexhaustible, blue heeler dog, who lives with her Mum, Dad and her little sister, Bingo".[2]

Bluey: The Movie will be released in theatres by Walt Disney Studios Motion Pictures in 2027.[3]

On 17 December 2024, BBC Studios and The Walt Disney Company announced that a Bluey film is set be released theatrically in 2027 by Walt Disney Pictures.[1] Marking a shift from the series' traditional animation, the film will be computer-animated and will see the series' voice cast and crew returning, with show creator Joe Brumm reprising his role as writer and director for the film. The film is a joint collaboration between Disney, BBC Studios and Ludo Studio; Disney will handle theatrical and streaming rights, with BBC Studios handling financing and licensing rights, and Ludo Studio producing the feature.[3]

Bluey: The Movie is scheduled for release in theatres in 2027, distributed by Walt Disney Pictures.[3] Ahead of its theatrical release, the film will stream on Disney+, ABC iView and ABC Kids.[1]
