Draft:Blind shot

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
  • Comment: There are a few reasons why this draft can't be accepted in its current state.
    * The text is copied verbatim from https://www.golfcompendium.com/2021/12/blind-shot-golf.html . A few words have been changed, but it is still a copyright violation, as well as plagiarism.
    * Wikipedia is not a dictionary. A Wikipedia article about a word or phrase has to be more than a definition with an example.
    * The draft talks about "games", but the sources are very specifically about golf. Is "blind shot" a term used in other sports? Otherwise, it would make more sense to add this information to Glossary of golf. The title Blind shot could then be created as a redirect to that article. bonadea contributions talk 08:37, 7 November 2024 (UTC)

"Blind shot" is a term often used in games for a situation where a player shot at a spot or target that is hidden from direct view.

An golf example, if you are standing in the fairway but cannot see the putting green from your location, you are playing a blind shot into the green
