BlazYT is an Australian YouTuber who focuses his content on technology and life hacks.^[1] He is known for his funny YouTube skits and his helpful tips and reviews on technology.

On April 11, 2024, BlazYT posted a video titled: "I'm switching to an iPad!" which amassed 4.7M views and was the main reason for his rise in fame.^[2] In the video, it starts with another YouTube video by Tussalty saying that the viewers should switch to an iPad over an iPhone.^[3] The video then cuts to BlazYT sarcastically saying: "Yes, that is such a good idea!". He then proceeds to throw an iPhone across the floor saying: "Goodbye iPhone," the camera then pans over to a couch where an iPad is laying and he then picks it up and states "I'm switching to and iPad!". This short but simple video concept was the key to his rise in fame.
