BlackRock Latin American Investment Trust plc is a UK based closed-ended investment trust listed on the London Stock Exchange as LSE: BRLA with its benchmark being the MSCI EM Latin America Index.[1][2][3] The company invests in a variety of sectors throughout Latin America with the aim of achieving long-term capital growth through total return.[4][5]
Launched in 1990 and managed by BlackRock since 2006, the portfolio is overseen by Sam Vecht and Christoph Brinkmann, with Carolann Dobson serving as the chairperson.[6][7][8]
