Bima Kumari Dura (Nepali: बिमा कुमारी दुरा) is a Nepali folk singer known for her contributions to Nepali music.[2] [3] [4]
Early life
[edit]Dura was born in the indigenous Dura community in Duradanda, Lamjung, Nepal.[5][6]
Career
[edit]Dura recorded her first song Chhoriko Juni in 1989.[7] After that she went on to become one of the top faces in Dohori scene of Nepal throughout the 90s and 2000s. She has been awarded with multiple awards.[8][9]
