This film perfectly blends real-life drama with dark human fantasy in order to take at look at the crossway of ordinary daily life of human being and the notorious criminal underworld. Storyline: Bhaggolokkhi, an Indian Bengali-language thriller film, portrays the ordinary lifestyle of a simple middle-class couple of mid 30s, Satya and Kaberi Ganguly. In the film, both Satya and Kaberi lead a normal lifestyle of earning bread and butter until one of Satya’s mysterious acquaintances, Sayan unexpectedly visits the couple. Meanwhile, Sayan dies due to the overdose of drugs at Satya and Kaberi’s home. Sayan’s sudden death leaves a suitcase full of money, pulling both Satya and Kaberi into a treacherous web of heroin trafficking. The storyline digs into the middle-class couple’s moral dilemma and their instinct of survival as they come across the dangerous reality.

Produced by Mr. Sandip Nandy and under the banner of Nandy Movies, Bhaggyolokkhi stars Ritwick Chakraborty and Solanki Roy in the lead characters of the story. Apart from these two acclaimed Bengali actors, Neel Mukherjee, Swastika Dutta, and Ratan Sarkhel play pivotal roles in this 2025 thriller movie by Mainak Bhaumik.
