Between Light and Shadow" by Edda R. Smith is a compelling collection of poetry that delves into the author's personal battles with mental health issues such as depression, PTSD, and anxiety. Smith uses her poetry as a therapeutic outlet to process her emotions and experiences, exploring themes of loss, abuse, abandonment, and the complexities of human connection.

In July 2023, Edda R. Smith's poem "Mould" from her poetry collection "Between Light and Shadow" was honored as the Poem of the Month by the Enfield Poets Society.
