Bettina Anderson (born December 1986) is an American socialite, model, and nonprofit executive. She is the co-founder and executive director of Paradise.ngo, a nonprofit organization focused on disaster relief and environmental conservation.
Early life and education
[edit]Bettina Anderson was born in December 1986 in Palm Beach, Florida, to Harry Loy Anderson Jr. and Inger Anderson.[1] Her father was a banker who became the youngest bank president in the United States at the age of 26 when he took the helm at Worth Avenue National Bank in 1970.[1][2] Her parents were involved in philanthropy, with her father serving on the board of the Historical Society of Palm Beach County and the national board of governors for the American Red Cross.[1] Bettina Anderson is one of six children. She attended Columbia University, graduating in 2009 with a degree in art history, criticism, and conservation.[1]
Career
[edit]Anderson has worked as a model and socialite. She has appeared on the cover of Quest magazine and participated in a photoshoot with Hamilton Jewelers in 2020.[1] She was also featured in Palm Beach Illustrated in 2021, where she was described as a "local influencer."[1]
Anderson co-founded the Paradise Fund with her brothers, a nonprofit organization focused on disaster relief and environmental conservation. In October 2021, she launched the Project Paradise Film Fund, an initiative to support stories about Florida’s natural wildlife, with proceeds directed toward conservation efforts.[1][2] As of April 2023, Anderson serves as the executive director of the nonprofit, which was later renamed Paradise.ngo.[1]
Personal life
[edit]Anderson has publicly discussed her faith and reflective practices in interviews.[2] In June 2020, she expressed support for the Black Lives Matter movement by posting a black square on social media as part of Blackout Tuesday. The post included hashtags such as #blacklivesmatter and a caption encouraging reflection and change.[2]
In 2024, Anderson began a relationship with Donald Trump Jr., with reports indicating they had been together for six months by December of that year.[1][3] She has been noted as a presence in Palm Beach society and attended the 2024 Republican National Convention.[1] Anderson has drawn media attention for her connection to Trump Jr. and speculation about her aspirations.[2][3]
