[edit]The Better Business Bureau of Chicago & Northern Illinois (BBB Chicago) was established in 1926 as part of a broader movement to promote ethical business practices and consumer protection. The organization was founded in response to growing concerns about deceptive advertising and unfair business practices, which were increasingly prevalent during that period.[1] The BBB of Chicago is a 501(c)6 organization.
