Bea's Bakery, established by Jules Litwak in 1968,[1] was started as a traditional Jewish bakery located in Tarzana, California on Ventura Blvd. Lenny Rosenberg and Adaeze Nwanonyiri became owners in October of 2022.[2]

The two have expanded the menu beyond Jewish cuisine, including ingredients from other cultures such as kola nuts from Nigeria. The menu also has gluten free and sugar free options.[3]

About the owners

[edit]

Lenny Rosenberg was born in Plainview, Long Island. He has worked on the East Coast developing restaurants such as Viking Bakery in New Jersey and Strathmore Bagels in New York.

Adaeze Nwanonyiri was born in Houston, Texas. She then moved to New York to study at the New York School of Interior Design. She met Rosenberg in Los Angeles.[4]

LARS

[edit]

The two work in LARS which specializes in developing and rebranding restaurants, bakeries, and cafes.[5] Rosenberg focuses on operations, while Nwanonyiri covers design.
