The Battle of Al-Sarif is a battle that took place on Sunday 17 march 1901 Between the Emirate of Kuwait and the Emirate of Jabal Shammar in Sarif, northwest of Buraidah The battle ended with the victory of the Emirate of Jabal Shammar over Kuwait and Kuwait's allies. Which caused heavy losses to the forces of the Emirate of Kuwait and the killing of Hamoud Al Sabah, brother of Mubarak Al Sabah.
