Battle Quest Comics (also known simply as Battle Quest) is a privately owned independent comic book publisher based in Portland, Oregon. Established in 2020 with a focus on action-adventure, sci-fi, and fantasy titles, Battle Quest has published a range of comic books and trade paperbacks distributed by Diamond Comic Distributors.
History
[edit]The publisher was founded in 2020 by Andrew Kafoury and additional family members as a joint venture. In July 2022, Battle Quest published the first issue of its flagship title sold via Diamond Comic Distributors, No’madd The Unconquerable[1]. It released a second series, Trident of Aurelia, in February 2023[2]. In July 2023, Battle Quest Comics released the first issue of Steel Siege.[3] Their fourth series, The Young No’madds, launched in October 2024.[4] A fifth series, The 27 Run, is set to debut in February 2025.[5]
Battle Quest Comics signed its first exclusive distribution contract with Diamond Comic Distributors in July 2022[6] and renewed their exclusive partnership in January 2024.
