Draft:Barsegh Gueghanyan
Submission declined on 2 April 2024 by KylieTastic (talk). This submission's references do not show that the subject qualifies for a Wikipedia article—that is, they do not show significant coverage (not just passing mentions) about the subject in published, reliable, secondary sources that are independent of the subject (see the guidelines on the notability of people). Before any resubmission, additional references meeting these criteria should be added (see technical help and learn about mistakes to avoid when addressing this issue). If no additional references exist, the subject is not suitable for Wikipedia.

Barsegh Geghamjan (Armenian: Барсэгг Геггамян, born 1850 in Yerevan) was an Armenian civil servant, official, and mayor of Yerevan.[1]
Geghamjan was educated in Moscow and then returned to Armenia, where, from 1875, he was in civil service in the Russian government of Yerevan, eventually earning the rank of collegiate assessor (following the civilian Russian rank table in the tsarist era).
From September 1884 to December 1893, Geghamjan was mayor of his hometown of Yerevan and, for a period in 1893, also prefect of Nor Bajazet (today known as Gavar).
