Barrister Nazir Ahmed a lawyer, writer, analyst, community activist and public representative - is one of the well known and well respected personalities in the British-Bangladeshi community. He is a multi-talented personality. Below is a description of how Mr Ahmed has demonstrated excellence in his legal profession, public representation and community works.

Mr Ahmed obtained his law (LLB Hons) degree from Queen Mary, University of London. Later on, he completed Master of Laws (LLM) from the University of London.[1] He was called to the Bar (Barrister-at-Law) by the Honourable Society of Lincoln's Inn in 1999.[1]

It should be noted that Mr Ahmed was at the top of the combined Pass List (of all Inns – Gray's Inn, Lincoln's Inn, Inner Temple and Middle Temple) of the British Bar Council's Bar Final Exams.

He was also later admitted as a Solicitor in the Supreme Court of England and Wales[2] having secured Grade 'A' in the Qualified Lawyers' Transfer Test (QLTT) and enrolled as an Advocate of the Supreme Court of Bangladesh.

Mr Ahmed has skills, knowledge and experience in international arbitration. He is a Fellow (FCIArb - the highest grade) of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (CIArb). He has advance management skills, qualification and experience. He achieved Fellowship (FCMI - the higher grade) by the Chartered Management Institute (CMI). Mr Ahmed also has expertise on environmental health and safety law. He achieved the highest grade (FRSPH) of the Royal Society for Public Health (RSPH). He was a Fellow of the former Royal Society of Public Health (RSPH) and the Royal Institute of Public Health (RIPH). Apart from this, Mr. Ahmed is a Fellow (FInstSMM) of the Institute of Sales and Marketing Management (InstSMM). Mr Nazir Ahmed has been the Principal/Head of his reputed legal practice named 'Lincoln's Chambers Solicitors' for over a decade.
