From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Bank-Fund Staff Federal Credit Union is an American credit union founded in 1947 by employees of the World Bank and International Monetary Fund. The headquarters of the credit union are located in Washington, D.C. Eli Vazquez was named CEO of Bank-Fund Staff Federal Credit Union in October 2013.

Bank-Fund Staff Federal Credit Union maintains three branches in the Washington, D.C., area: The World Bank Main Complex Branch at 1818 H Street NW, MC-C2 - Suite 300 (restricted access to World Bank Group employees and consultants only), the IFC Branch at 2100 K Street NW, and the IMF HQ2 Branch at 1900 Pennsylvania Avenue.

In 2024, Bank-Fund Staff Federal Credit Union adopted a new, shorter version of it's name (BankFund Credit Union) designed to better represent the diverse and inclusive community that the financial cooperative now represents, as membership is no longer restricted solely to current staff members of the World Bank and International Monetary Fund, but inclusive of family and householder members as well as past employees.

Credit union membership is also open to eligible employees, staff members and officers of the Bretton Woods Recreation Center, World Bank Children's Center, and more.
