Banana Tree (stylized as BananaTree) is a chain of restaurants owned by The Big Table based in the United Kingdom.[2] The restaurant serves Pan-Asian style cuisine, with the interiors of the restaurants being themed in a similar way.[3]
As of 2023 they have 18 locations, mostly in London and the south east of England.[4]
History
[edit]Banana Tree was founded in 1999 as a cafe in Maida Vale called Street Hawker by William Chow.[5][2]
On the 28 September 2022 it was acquired by Big Table Group.[6]
