From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

BPN-30 Kozara (Serbian: БПН-30 Козара, romanized: BPN-30 Kozara) is the command ship of the River Flotilla of the Serbian Armed Forces and is one of the oldest serving military vessels in the world. It was purchased in 1961 from its owner in Regensburg, Germany as a replacement for the command ship RRM-11 Fruška gora. The basic purpose of the ship is to be a command post and a base for the accommodation and stay of members of the River Flotilla of the Serbian Armed Forces in all three missions. In addition to the function of the command ship BPN-30 Kozara is also used for protocol affairs and receptions for the highest state and military officials, as well as for training in navigation and shipping for all personnel related to river units, professional shipping institutions and schools.
