AstroPepeX is a memecoin created on the Ethereum blockchain on September 19, 2023.^[1]. The memecoin is considered the first autonomously AI deployed memecoin ever^[2]^[3].

Deployment

Prior to AstroPepeX debut on September 19, 2023. A pseudonymous developer on X named "CroissantEth"^[4] built out the infrastructure^[5] to enable OpenAI's ChatGPT to use it's API^[6] and create a token^[7].

Using CroissantEth's provided infrastructure, ChatGPT built the token using the OpenZepplin^[8] standards. ChatGPT then decided the token supply independently^[9]. Then independently decided on the token name^[10]. Using the decided name, ChatGPT asked AI software DALL-E to create an image^[11]. After ChatGPT decided all the parameters of the token, and deployed it. Ownership of the token was revoked and deposited into a Uniswap contract^[12]

ChatGPT finalized token design with the following parameters. Name: AstroPepeX / Supply: 65,000,000,000 / Trading Symbol: APX^[13]
