AsstrA (Associated Traffic AG) is a transport and logistics company headquartered in Zurich with a global network of representatives in Europe, CIS, North America and Asia.

In 2024, AsstrA's international group includes branches from over 23 countries, including locations outside Europe such as Turkey (Istanbul), USA (New York, Houston, Tampa), China (Shanghai and Shenzhen), Kazakhstan (Almaty), Uzbekistan (Tashkent).[1]

History

The company was established in 1993 as a small business providing road freight services between Europe and the CIS. Starting from 1999, AsstrA started to expand in member countries of EU. In 2000, the company launched its own fleet of trucks and started offering 3PL services. In 2010 the group of companies was divided into four subsidiaries: AsstrA Forwarding AG, AsstrA Transport AG, AsstrA Logistics AG and EBS Partners AG.[2]

In 2015, AsstrA expanded to the Far East Asia region, with first office in China (Shanghai).

In 2019, AsstrA expanded to the North America region, with first office in U.S. (New York).

Certificates

AsstrA holds international quality certificates confirming its competence in the field of logistics. ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 28 000 and ISO 45 001 certificates confirm compliance with global quality standards. The 22 000 certificate authorises the transport of foodstuffs and the SQAS certificate authorises the transport of chemical goods, including those classified as ADR hazardous.[3]
