Assay Genie Ltd is a private company headquartered in Dublin, Ireland. The company primarily offers life science products for immunology, neuroscience and oncology researchers by providing ELISA Kits, Antibodies and Genomics products.

History

Assay Genie was founded by Seán Mac Fhearraigh PhD and Colm Ryan PhD in Dublin, Ireland in 2017 and serve as the companies CSO and CEO respectively. In 2017 the company received a $1 million investment from a private investment group.[1]

Prior to founding Assay Genie, Sean Mac Fhearraigh was the founder of Pint of Science Ireland, which is a national STEM outreach event that occurs in May.[2][3]

The company was founded intially under the name of Reagent Genie to covers it's ecommerce brands of Antibody Genie, Assay Genie and ELISA Genie. However, in 2022 the company consolidated under the name of Assay Genie Ltd to streamline marketing and sales channels.

In 2020 Assay Genie were a key developer and importer of COVID-19 rapid testing kits supplying antigen test kits to research groups and governments globally.[4][5][6]
