From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Arsamanes I (Old Persian: Arsëm) or Arsamenes the Great was the khwarazmshah and ruler from 337 BC to 292 BC. His military reforms and his expeditions of Khwarazm are often attributed to him as modern historians refer to him as one of the greatest rulers as he was the Progenitor of the Arsamenid Dynasty.
