Arjun Kumal (born 11 December 2005 in Chhatrakot, Gulmi, Nepal) is a Nepalese cricketer.[1]. He has played for the Nepal Under-16s and Nepal Under-19s teams.

Early life

Arjun Kumal was born in Chhatrakot, Gulmi, Nepal. He developed an interest in cricket at a young age and progressed through the ranks of Nepal's junior cricket teams.

Domestic career

Kumal has represented Nepal in various age-group cricket tournaments, showcasing his skills as a right-handed batsman and leg break bowler.

International career

Arjun Kumal has been a part of Nepal's Under-16 and Under-19 teams, contributing significantly to the team's performances in various international youth cricket competitions.

On February 25, 2023, during the Men's U-19 World Cup Asia Qualifiers, Arjun Kumal scored a brilliant century, helping the Nepal U-19 team post a huge total of 343/7 against Kuwait. Kumal scored 108 runs, including 12 fours, and added 167 runs for the third wicket with skipper Dev Khanal. This partnership was crucial in setting up Nepal's commanding total.

On April 7, 2024, during an ongoing ODI series, Arjun Kumal struck another century against Ireland Wolves. He scored 114 runs off 118 balls as Nepal A successfully chased down Ireland Wolves' target of 285 runs, despite losing 5 wickets and conceding 193 runs in 33.1 overs[2]
