Antonio Martínez Cascales (born 1958 or 1959) is a Spanish tennis coach.
In 1990, Martínez Cascales founded the Equelite Academy (later renamed the Ferrero Tennis Academy) in Alicante, Villena. When it opened, the academy had only two clay courts and a clubhouse.[1]
Also in 1990, Martínez Cascales began training ten-year-old Juan Carlos Ferrero.[2] Their partnership continued throughout the 2000s, and Martínez Cascales oversaw Ferrero's rise to become ATP World No. 1 and win Roland-Garros in 2003.
Martínez Cascales still works at the Ferrero Academy and currently helps Ferrero mentor former ATP World No. 1 and multiple-time grand slam champion Carlos Alcaraz.[3]
