Ryan Andrew Pappanastos POP-ə-NOSS-təss; (born 1994) is an American former football placekicker. He played college football at Ole Miss and Alabama.
Early years
[edit]Pappanastos was born in Montgomery, Alabama and grew up there. Pappanastos attended Trinity Presbyterian School in Montgomery, Alabama, where he played American football.
College career
[edit]Pappanastos attended the University of Mississippi from 2013 to 2015 and the University of Alabama in 2016 and 2017.
In 2013 for his freshman season, he did not see the field.
In 2014, for his redshirt freshman season, Pappanastos missed his only field goal attempt (42) and made 5 of 6 extra points (83.3%).
In 2015, for his sophomore season, Pappanastos did not attempt a field goal, and made 3 of 3 on extra point attempts (100%).
In 2016, for his junior season, Pappanastos made his only field goal attempt (33), and 6 of 6 on extra point attempts (100%).
In 2017, for his senior season, Pappanastos made 18 of 25 field goal attempts (72.0%), and 56 of 56 on extra point attempts (100%).
He finished his career making 19 of his 27 field goal attempts (70.4%), and went 70 of 71 on extra point attempts (98.6%) which combined for 127 points.[1]
