Alliance of the Baltic-Black Sea Nations is an international political association of organizations and parties from Ukraine, Georgia, Belarus, Latvia, Lithuania and Estonia. The organization was founded December 5 2014 in Kiev[1][2].
Goals
[edit]According to a statement by one of the initiators of the creation of the organization, the head of the Congress of Ukrainian Nationalists Stepan Bratsyun, the main objectives of the association are to fight the “imperial policy” of Russia and strengthening contacts between politicians and the public of the Baltic and Black Sea regions to update the regional security system[1][3].
Also, one of the main demands of the Alliance is “the liberation of the Russian-occupied territories of Ukraine and Georgia”[1][3].

Activities
[edit]On May 5, 2015, the Alliance signed a memorandum of cooperation with United National Movement (Georgia), public organization "Apriori", "Kazakh opposition" and “Anti-dictatorship front”. During the event, it was announced the creation of an organization to support Georgian volunteers in Ukraine, the main objectives of which are[4]:
- support for Georgian fighters who fight in the ranks of the Armed Forces of Ukraine;
- creation of a center for assistance and coordination for volunteers from Georgia wishing to join the Armed Forces of Ukraine;
- creation of a fund to support Georgian fighters in Ukraine;
- interaction with the Anti-Dictatorship Front, the Alliance of Baltic-Black Sea Nations and other international organizations on the following issues: the release of political prisoners in Georgia;
- support for Georgian political emigrants in Ukraine, “the fight against dictatorship in Georgia”, “liberation of the territories occupied” by Russia - Abkhazia, South Ossetia;
- support for the “liberation of Russian-occupied Ukrainian territory - Crimea;
- holding events: “Abkhazia is Georgia”, “Ossetia is Georgia”, “Crimea is Ukraine”;
- creation of a center of Georgian reformers who will actively participate in Ukrainian reforms.
On the seventh anniversary of the beginning of the Russia-Georgia war the Alliance together with the Congress of Ukrainian Nationalists organized the action “Common Enemy - Common Victory” in the center of Kiev[5].
On January 4, 2016, members of the Alliance Nationalist Youth Congress, Lithuanian Nationalist Youth Union, "Blue Awakening" and National Association "Everything for Latvia!" — “Fatherland and Freedom/DNNL” organized solidarity actions at the diplomatic missions of Ukraine in Tallinn, Riga, Vilnius and Kaunas, laid flowers and lit candles in memory of the fallen soldiers in eastern Ukraine and organized a fundraiser for the purchase of an SUV for the 95th separate airmobile brigade Armed Forces of Ukraine[6].
