Introduction
[edit]The report is from October 20, likely during the First Balkan War (1912-1913), and describes the movements of the Serbian army, consisting of 120,000 men under the command of King Peter I, as it advanced into Ottoman territory while facing harsh weather conditions.
The Ambush
[edit]The Arnauts (a historical term for Albanians) ambushed a Serbian company that had been detached from the main force. A group of 70 Serbian soldiers unknowingly marched into the trap and were all killed, with no mercy.
