Al-Hammad (Arabic: بادية الحماد, romanizedBādiyat al-Hammad) is a stony plateau straddling the Syrian and Arabian Deserts. It extends northwards from northern Saudi Arabia through eastern Jordan to the southeastern region of Syria and western Iraq.[1]
