Aishath Yaadha Waheed (born 25 January 1980) is a Maldivian film actress.
Career
[edit]Yaadha made her film debut in her husband, Ali Shifau's comedy film Maamui (2019), where she portrayed the role Saniya, a suspicious wife.[1] Upon its release, the film received mainly positive reviews from critics, where Aminath Lubaa from Sun applauded the performance of the ensemble cast including that of Yaadha's.[2] Ifraz Ali from Dho found her performance weak in places but improved as the film progressed.[3]
In 2022, she again collaborated with Ali Shifau for his anthology web series Dark Rain Chronicles.[4] In the segment titled "Fureytha", she played the role of housewife who kills and dispose the body of her abusive husband. The segment and her performance was equally appreciated by the critics.[5][6]
