African Love Stories is an anthology that was first published in 2006 in the UK by Ayebia Clarke Publishing Limited. It is edited and collected by the Ghanaian Author Ama Ata Aidoo. The book aimed at debunking the myth about African women as impoverished victims.[1]

African Love Stories brings together twenty-one short stories written by various African authors. These include the following:

Many of these stories explore similar themes of love, marriage, culture, racism, cross-culture relationships, gender, family and uncertainty.
