Adam Maijo is a Spanish long-distance runner,He began his career in athletics participating in regional cross country races in Tarragona Spain,[1]
Early Life and Career
[edit]Adam Maijo born in Tarragona, Spain on 26 APR 2001, He holds several Spanish national titles such as U20[2][3] and U23,[4][5] both indoors, outdoors and cross country. he is also participating in distances ranging from 1,500 meters to 10 kilometers road race.[6][7]
He has competed with the Spanish team at the European Cross Country Championships in other European cities such as Lisbon, Dublin and Piedmont and in the European U20[3] [2]and U23[5][4] Championships,[8] He got bronze medal in Spanish U18 outdoor vice-champion and indoor,[1] he also got 6th (sixth) position in 3000m and 5000m race[1][7].He got 2nd position in 3000m race held in Muscat in 2024[9][10].He is training under coaching of Carles Castillejo who represented Spain at the Olympics on four occasions (2004, 2008, 2012 and 2016).[11][1]
