Early Life and Background
[edit]Abel Vathilingon was born in Curepipe, Mauritius, into a family of musicians, which deeply influenced his early interest in music. He found his initial inspiration in gospel music, which marked the beginning of his musical journey. During the COVID-19 lockdown in 2020, Abel began posting gospel covers on social media, which garnered significant attention and positive feedback. This encouragement led him to start writing his original songs.
