The 82nd Golden Globe Awards is an upcoming awards ceremony for film and American television productions of 2024, as chosen by Golden Globe Foundation. It will broadcast live on January 5, 2025, from The Beverly Hilton in Beverly Hills, California, beginning at 5:00 p.m. PST / 8:00 p.m. EST, on CBS and stream on Paramount+ in the United States.[3] It will be produced by Dick Clark Productions, Ricky Kirshner, and Glenn Weiss; the latter will also serve as director.[2] Comedian Nikki Glaser will host the ceremony.[1][4][5]

The nominees will be announced on December 9, 2024.[3] Mindy Kaling and Morris Chestnut will announce the nominations.[6][7][8] Ted Danson and Viola Davis have been announced as the recipients of the Carol Burnett Award and Cecil B. DeMille Award, respectively.[9][10][11][12]
