[edit]The Concorso Internazionale, the premier section of the Locarno Film Festival, features new works in competition for the Golden Leopard.[1]
Concorso Cineasti del Presente
[edit]The Concorso Cineasti del Presente, also known as the Filmmakers of the Present Competition, showcases first and second feature films from emerging filmmakers.[2]
Pardi di Domani
[edit]The Pardi di Domani section, also known as the Leopard of Tomorrow, features short and medium-length films.[3]

[edit]Semaine de la Critique – International Critics' Week
[edit]The Semaine de la Critique is an independent section of the festival organized by the Swiss Association of Film Journalists in which seven new documentary feature films are presented.[6]
Panorama Suisse
[edit]The independent Panorama Suisse section features highlights of contemporary Swiss cinema.[7]

[edit]The Pardo d'Oro, also known as the Golden Leopard, is awarded to the best film in the Concorso Internazionale section of the festival.[1]
Special Jury Prize
[edit]The Special Jury Prize is awarded to the second-best film in the Concorso Internazionale competition on behalf of the cities of Ascona and Losone.[1]
Pardo for Best Direction
[edit]The Pardo for Best Direction is presented on behalf of the city and region of Locarno.[1]
Pardo for Best Performance
[edit]Two performers are awarded the Pardo for Best Performance, a gender-neutral award category.[1]

[edit]The Pardo d’Oro Concorso Cineasti del Presente, also known as the Golden Leopard – Filmmakers of the Present, is awarded to the best feature film by an emerging filmmaker.[2]
Best Emerging Director Award
[edit]The Best Emerging Director Award is presented on behalf of the city and region of Locarno.[2]
Special Jury Prize CINÉ+

[edit]The Leopard Club Award recognizes a film industry professional whose work "left its mark on the collective imagination."

[edit]The Pardo alla Carriera Ascona-Locarno Tourism award recognizes an individual's contributions to cinema throughout their career.[11]
Premio Raimondo Rezzonico
[edit]The Premio Raimondo Rezzonico recognizes industry professionals for their contributions to international film production.
Vision Award Ticinomoda
[edit]The Vision Award Ticinomoda is presented to a film craftsperson whose "creative work has contributed to renew the cinematographic imaginary."[12]
