The women's competition at the 2024 ICF Canoe Polo World Championships was won by New Zealand who only lost one game during the tournament. It was the third world championship title in a row for the kiwis, the last one coming in the 2016 ICF Canoe Polo World Championships. In second place, Italy claimed their first ever silver in their first ever world championship final, one step up on the podium for them since the 2022 ICF Canoe Polo World Championships where they claimed the bronze. In third place, Netherlands claimed their first medal in the women's category since the 2006 ICF Canoe Polo World Championships.

The final rankings of the women's category was a surprise to many, for example Iran placed fourth (just losing on golden goal to Netherlands) being 17th on the world ranking and reigning champions Germany missed a medal for the first time since the 1998 ICF Canoe Polo World Championships. |}
