The 2023–24 season is Obolon Kyiv's 32nd season in existence and their first season back in the Ukrainian Premier League since 2011-12. In addition, Obolon Kyiv will also compete in the Ukrainian Cup.
Season Summary

[edit]Obolon Kyiv got promoted in May and were now getting ready for the Ukrainian Premier League season. They started off with a 4-2 win over Kolos Kovalivka, a fellow Ukrainian Premier League club on July 4. They then played against Ukrainian First League club Chernihiv and won 3-1 on July 7. On July 12, they played another First League club, playing Kyiv club FC Livyi Bereh but lost 0-2. On 15 July, they played FC Zvyahel and won 2-0. On July 19, they played Nyva Buzova and won 4-1. Their final preseason game was against Chayka and it finished a 1-1 draw on July 22.
The first game of the Premier League was on July 28, they hosted Kolos Kovalivka and it finished a 0-0 draw.[1]
August
[edit]To start August, Obolon hosted their city rivals Dynamo Kyiv on 4 August, and lost 4-2.[2] Ruslan Chernenko and Danylo Karas both scored for Obolon Kyiv to get their first competitive goals however it wasn't enough to beat their rivals.

Ukrainian Cup

The club entered in the fourth preliminary round and were drawn away to Ukrainian Second League side Zviahel.[3] In the Round of 16, Obolon Kyiv were drawn at home to fellow Kyiv team Dynamo.[4] In the quarter-finals, they were drawn at home to fellow Premier League side Vorslka Poltava.[5]
