The 1913 Lincoln Blue Tigers football team represented Lincoln Institute—now known as Lincoln University—in Jefferson City, Missouri as an indepednent during the 1913 college football season. The Lincoln football team finished the season with a record of 1–0 after defeating Quinn Dairies of Kansas City on the road. The game was apparently an important one, as students began celebrating the triumph when coach West telegraphed back with the score. Romeo West, a former Lincoln alum, was the coach of this team. West also coached various other sports and held a teaching position during his time at Lincoln.[1]
