The Do IT Global Innovative Solutions, abbreviated as Digis is a European software development company founded by Nick Nagatkin in 2015. The company is focused on finding engineering talent to build complex software for product companies.[1] Digis counts 200 on its staff across a variety of fields including fintech, healthcare and HR.[1]
History
[edit]In 2015, Do IT Programming Solutions was established and opened its office in Odesa, Ukraine. Three years later, an office was opened in Larnaca, Cyprus, where the headquarters was also relocated. In December 2018, Do IT Programming Solutions changed its name to Digis (full name is Do IT Global Innovative Solutions) as part of its rebranding.[2]
The company is the pioneer of a patented smart outsourcing automation paradigm designed to increase the productivity of IT service companies. This end-to-end approach focuses on automation and full integration into the client's business, going beyond simple software development.
In 2022, Digis successfully increased its staff to more than 200 people and continues to actively develop in the international market, expanding its activities and engaging in new projects.[3]
Digis is an active participant in specialised IT forums and conferences, such as Web Summit and others.
Operations
[edit]At the start, Digis coded only in JavaScript, but later the company began to work with all major programming languages and create projects from idea to launch and subsequent support.[4]
2020 was a breakthrough year for Digis, the company grew by 50%. Digis has more well-known clients, such as BlaBlaCar, PwC, HubSpot and others.[5]
The company worked with Roomster (the largest US rental service and social network for homeowners), RetroTax (administrator of federal and other tax credit and tax incentive programmes for businesses in the US).[6][7] In eight years, the company has 500+ clients worldwide in over 40 countries across 6 continents
During the economic downturn that began in 2023, the company's focus shifted to helping IT products optimise their processes, advising on how to scale their products correctly, and reducing the cost of IT services.
Recognition
[edit]In 2019, the company entered the top 1000 best B2B service providers according to Clutch.[8]
Digis ranks 8th in the list of Top 10+ Hybrid App Development Companies.[9]
Forbes magazine published the list 30 Under 30 Europe 2022 in the category “Technology”. Nick Nagatkin, as the founder of Digis, was included in the list.[1]
The company received the award of the TechBehemoths platform as the best Mobile App Development company in Ukraine.
In 2022, Digis entered the top 1000 companies according to Clutch.
In 2023, the company was included in the Clutch 100 ranking, became one of the top PHP developers and the Top Global Service Provider according to Clutch, and won the Dubai Manifest Awards. Digis also became the Fall 2023 Clutch Global & Champion Fall Winner, Clutch Top 100 Fastest Growth Company 2023.
Digis has been honored with the prestigious 2023 Global Recognition Award.
In 2024, Digis wins Business Excellence Award for Best AI-Powered Meeting Tool.
Social activities
[edit]Digis has a scholarship programme to attract the attention of American youth to IT and software engineering.[10] The company cooperates with many platforms, associations, agencies and social NGOs involved in scientific research and sustainable environmental development, including Noosphere, Startup Battle, Beetroot Academy, Airforse Community, Easy Code School, U Open University, Shag (computer academy), IT Ukraine Association, Upwork and others.
