Local politics

[edit]

Diana Blamires was voted in as a County Councillor for Wing at the 2021 Buckinghamshire Council election.[4]

She led a project which helped parents of children with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND) get the information they need when they first have a concern about their child.[5]

Blamires fought for an extra £5 million to be released from Buckinghamshire Council's budget for road repairs.[6]

In November 2024 Blamires announced that she was going to stand as an independent for unitary councillor in Winslow on 1 May 2025.[7]
