Dele Farotimi

Dele Farotimi is a Nigerian human rights lawyer.[1]

Biography

Dele Farotimi is a lawyer, author and member of Citizen’s Rally Against Oppression (RAMINBA). Farotimi was born on 27 April 1968.[2] He attended Fiditi Grammar School and Lagos State University (LASU) where he graduated with an LLB.[3] He served as President of the Student’s Union at the Lagos State University (LASU), in 1994/1995, and was called to the Nigerian bar in 1999.[4]

Dele is an activist, a political commentator and author of the book “Do Not Die In Their War”, a treatise on Nigeria’s contemporary political trajectories.[citation needed] On 3 December 2024, he was arrested.[5]
