Davood Younesi ((Persian: داوود یونسی; born 11 November, 1990) is an Iranian singer, songwriter, musician, and music researcher from the Khorasan region.[2][3][4][5][6] He is known for his unique blend of traditional Khorasan music and contemporary folk pop, making him a prominent figure in the Iranian music scene. His Kurmanji piece "Refsh Chawe Le Delbere" gained significant international attention, even being featured in the Turkish newspaper Ufuk.[7]

[edit]Born in Quchan, Iran, Younesi comes from a family with a rich musical background. His father, a traditional Khorasan singer, sparked his early interest in music. Younesi honed his skills under renowned masters like Mohammad Yeganeh, Ramazan Salmani Bardari, Ali Gholamrezayi Almejoghi, and later, Alireza Eslami, a Khorasan regional music expert.[8][9]
