Daniele Quieto (born 22 October 2005) is a footballer who plays as a midfielder for Inter. Born in Italy, he has been called up to represent Venezuela internationally.

Life and career

Quieto was born on 22 October 2005 in Venice, Italy. He is of Venezuelan descent through his parents. He has a brother.[1] He has regarded Brazil international Ronaldinho as his football idol. As a youth player, Quieto joined the youth academy of Italian side Venezia. In 2019, he joined the youth academy of Italian Serie A side Inter. He played for the club's first team during summer 2024 preseason.[2]

Quieto was an Italy youth international. He has played for the Italy national under-17 football team, the Italy national under-18 football team, and the Italy national under-19 football team. He made nine appearances and scored zero goals while playing for the Italy national under-17 football team. He made six appearances and scored zero goals while playing for the Italy national under-18 football team. He made four appearances and scored zero goals while playing for the Italy national under-19 football team. In 2024, he was called up to the Venezuela national football team.

Quieto mainly operates as a midfielder. He specifically operates as an attacking midfielder. He can also operate as a left-winger and as a second striker. He is right-footed. He has been described as a "classic attacking midfielder, with a stocky build and a lightning-fast dribbling ability in tight spaces... loves to receive the ball and catalyze his team’s offensive play".[3]
