Dacoit: A Love Story[1] is an upcoming action drama film directed by cinematographer Shaneil Deo, in his directorial debut. Co-produced by Supriya Yarlagadda and Suniel Narang,[2] the film is being shot simultaneously in Telugu and Hindi.[3] It stars Adivi Sesh and Shruti Haasan in lead roles.[4] The film unfolds as a tale of two former lovers forced to re-unite for a series of robberies that promise to alter the course of their lives.[5]
The news about the collaboration and the announcement came out on 12 December.[6][7] The film is scheduled to release in 2024.[1]

Production
[edit]Shaneil Deo served as the director of photography for Telugu thrillers like Kshanam (2016) and Goodachari (2018).[4]
Shaneil Deo said "it is an intense action drama with a beating heart."[1] He stated that the film demanded a rooted, gritty, yet well-mounted and stylish canvas.[2]
